A family-run farm located on the sunny side of Kislica, at an altitude of 605 meters, in the peaceful hills of Frankolovo, Slovenia.
In 2005, parents Bojan and Vesna purchased an old farm and, with great dedication and perseverance, gradually renovated it. The main reasons for the purchase were self-sufficient food production, fresh air, exceptionally clean water, silence, and being surrounded by unspoiled nature.
The first inhabitants were our deer, who still roam freely on the grounds today and welcome guests who want to experience life in nature.
Sons Jernej and Blaž renovated an old farmhouse and founded Boutique Farm Hrovat.
Farm tourism has been operating since 2023.
Parents Bojan and Vesna purchased an old farm with a dream – to grow their own food, breathe fresh mountain air, drink crystal-clear water and live surrounded by peace and nature.
The first residents, our deer, made the farm their home. They still roam freely today, gently welcoming visitors and offering a first taste of life close to nature.
The entire family relocated to the farm, bringing energy, love and a vision for transforming the property.
During these years, the farm’s buildings were slowly and thoughtfully renovated, laying the foundation for a self-sufficient way of life. The family focused on producing food for themselves and feed for their animals, while traditional livestock farming and food processing became part of daily life, preserving age-old knowledge and ensuring high-quality food from farm to table.
Finally, we opened our doors to guests. Visitors can now enjoy an authentic farm experience, meet our animals, taste fresh products and relax in the serenity of the Slovenian hills.
